Hello everyone!!!!
I was going through friends blogs and decided to make one, so people can keep in touch with Wade and I and know what is going on in our lives!!! So here is what has been going on the last four half months since we got married!!!
Well....we had three wedding receptions which was Awesome because lots of people were able to share our special day with us as well as getting lots of good presents!!! Thank you to everyone who shared one of our special days with us!!! They were all lots of fun!!!
In between the 2 and 3 reception, we were able to sneak away for a two week honeymoon! The first week was spent in Tampa Bay, Florida as Wade had a Sports Information Director confernce down there. We stayed at an awesome Marriott hotel! We saw movies, went to the beach and caught a Rays/Red Sox game (yep...I jumped on the ban wagon and am cheering for them to win the World Series...I even have one of there cool shirts!!!). After the first week, we headed back in our red convertible (Wade really wanted one) to Orlando where we stayed at the most amazing Resort (thanks to Uncle Mike and Aunt Shirley). The place was huge!!!! We spent the next week seeing Disney World (Wade had never been there) and enjoyed the fireworks on the 4th of July in the Magic Kingdom. I think our favorite was the Animal Kingdom, but we also loved just hanging out at the resort and spending our time relaxing!!!
We came back to Iowa and had about a month or so before Wade become SUPER BUSY with the fall sports at William Penn. The last two and half months have been spent going to soccer, volleyball and football games!!! With me (Jodi) subbing this year, I was able to go home to Idaho for two weeks in September to see Jade and Jerie play in football and soccer. However, Jade hurt his knee the first play I had ever seen him play, but Jerie's team did good and I was able to help coach the goalies. Because Jade hurt his knee and had to have surgery, I went back to Idaho the first week of October while my parents went to Bermuda (they already had the cruise planned). It was nice to be able to go home and see the family, but I would have liked Wade to have come with me. While at there, I finally got to see the car Wade and I bought. It is a Pontiac G-5 (2009) and is the coolest car out there! We love it and fight over who drives that and who gets stuck with the Jeep! I normally win!!! :)
We are living in a one bedroom apartment as Hall Directors at Penn, but just found out we can move into the 2 bedroom! So that will be awesome as we will have lots more space!!! With living in the dorms, we had to send Gentry (our little Puggle) to Idaho to live with the parents until we get a house. He drives them nuts, but really do apperciate them taking care of him!!!
We are excited for the next two months as we get Thanksgiving Break and the best vacation ever coming up in December as we will be going with my family (Jodi) to Hawaii!!! We are going on a cruise as well as hanging out on the beach over Christmas!! I am super excited for the whole trip, but especially about eating FRESH PINEAPPLE!!! Oh...and sitting on the beach and catching some sun while relaxing!!!
Wade and I are staying busy with his work and my subbing. I also am going back to get my master's right now...so that is keeping me busy! But we are loving life right now and just spending as much time together!!! We both drive each other crazy at times...but couldn't imagine being with anyone else!!! LIFE IS GOOD!!!
