Growing up so BIG!!!

Well..Wade and I have made it almost 4 weeks with a little baby and she is still alive...so a very good thing!!! :) She is doing so well and continues to grow as well as starting to show a little personality! This coming Wednesday she will be 4 weeks and on Saturday, she will be a month old. We can't believe that she will already be a month old as the time with her is flying by so fast!!! Whitney and myself(Jodi) are having a lot of fun being home and enjoying each other (or at least I think she enjoys being with me!!!). We love taking naps together, reading books, and playing with toys (I of course help with the reading books and playing with the toys!!). She expereinced her first William Penn basketball games and did very well!!! She looked around the whole time and the noise didn't bother her one bit! She continues to sleep through most of the night which is helping dad in not being crabby!!!! We also had a our first family night where we had pizza and watched Finding Nemo! She fell asleep during the first part, but it was nice to spend time as a family! Whitney and Jodi will be going out to Idaho in a month and we are very excited to go out there!!! Wade's family has been able to come down and visit and enjoy Whitney!! It has been very nice seeing them and letting them enjoy Whitney! She has started to laugh, smile lots more and follow items and people with her eyes!!! She can hold her neck up for long periods of times and especially loves bath time!!! I think if we left her in there, she could spend hours enjoying the warm water!!! We feel very blessed to have such a good baby and are taking every day and just enjoying her as she grows more each day!!!

Whitney at two weeks!!!

Things have been going very well with having Whitney home!!! She continues to grow and change each day!!! It is amazing how quickly they grow and kinda sad as she is no longer our new little girl!! But we love her more each day!!! She went to the doctor this week and is doing AWESOME!!! She gained a whole pound since we left the hospital, so she is eating very very well!!! Whitney is a very good baby and has yet to show us what her lungs can really do!!! We are waiting for that day to come, but for now she is a very content, happy little girl!!! She sleeps for most of the night getting up only once around 3 or so, so we are not complaining about that!! She has Wade wrapped around her finger and he is such a great dad and husband!!! He has helped out so much around the apartment and has allowed me to recover and only worry about Whitney. Whitney loves to sleep on her dad's chest all sprawled out on her back!! It is very cute!!! We also love having Jade around as he has been a huge help with things!!! Wade's family came down this past weekend from both sides, so it was nice to see all of them and have them meet Whitney. Whitney and Jodi will be going to Idaho the middle of February, so we are VERY excited for this!!! It will be the first plane ride (after birth), so we will see how she does!!! Other than that, things are good and we are enjoying have her in our lives and starting a new chapter of the Steinlage Family!!!
